Two Skeins Tuesday

I spun this yesterday.  I’m quite pleased with how it turned out.  It’s my first single ply yarn.  It was one of those cat-barf dyeing disasters.  The original roving looked rather messy, so I split into pencil roving and predrafted it and then put it away for several months.  I’m guessing it’s maybe 4 ounces (?) and is ~228 yards.

The latest fleece to yarn skein.  ~1.75 oz Shetland (looks Musket to me), washed & combed, spun 2-ply, fingering weight.  ~134 yards.
